I’ve tried to break the radically different areas that I’ve studied (e.g. from violence to care) into how they relate to inequalities, differentiating between those that harden inequalities through structures and institutions into those that make, sustain and resist inequalities through living them. I’ve always been interested in how methods make the knowledge we receive, and have moved from experience as a longitudinal ethnographer to a digital sociologist, through many other methods, surveys, audience research, interviews, visual.
